Love Is All You Need! Just ask Soul-Folk music artist Mike Isberto, its the title of his new Extended Play cd and is now available for down load on I-tunes. Mike's Love for music is all he has needed to launch a successful music career after only picking up a guitar 4 years ago. Without any formal training, this self taught artist just picked up a guitar one day and started strumming his way into the entertainment industry.

The lines of talent run deep in the Isberto household. Born in Glendale, CA, Mike is now 26 years old and majoring in education.  Mike grew up listening to old school music of the 50's and 60's. That influence came from his dad who is also a singer and musician. Mike's brother, music artist "Rosoul" also strums to the musical family beat.

Mike defines his style as Soul-Folk, no doubt due to the influence of early soul and acoustic vocalist like James Taylor and Otis Redding. With about 6 or 7 thousand followers on his my space, Mike is indeed building a grass roots following that is sure to continue to grow into mainstream popularity. Just think, if Mike had followed his original boyhood dream, he would be strumming outside jump shots through the nets in the NBA. Fortunately for music fans all over Mike stopped growing somewhere in middle school so we won't see Mike hooping it up in the purple and gold colors of the Lake Show!
